Offers a holistic approach to mental health and substance use through prevention, treatment and recovery services.
The Centre is co-operated by Island Health, with Lookout Housing and Health Society, The Centre offers a broad range of mental health and substance use services focused on prevention, intervention, treatment and recovery. This includes higher capacity for inhalation services, and access to vital health-care resources such as clinical areas and exam rooms.

Mental Health & Substance Use (MHSU) Navigation Link for Clients/Patients: This service link central access phone number will provide help for clients navigating Island Health services for substance use, harm reduction and mental health. People seeking these services can call 1-888-885-8824 to speak directly with a Service Link provider. (This is not a line for health professionals to initiate a referral).
Supports & Services include:
- Case management
- Referrals and links to other services
- Concurrent mental health and substance use services
- Prevention services include life-saving harm reduction, overdose prevention, and peer supports
- Primary care such as wound care, STI screening, and treatment of concurrent diseases like diabetes and COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease)
- Opioid Agonist Therapy (OAT), Tablet Injectable Opioid Agonist Therapy (TiOAT), and managed alcohol programs for individuals who have not benefited from other treatment options
